houston, we have a connection
i'm totally geeked out. i picked up a delphi roadie this weekend for the endeavour. i now have xm radio!!! i've wanted this for over a year & karen finally gave in. it was a great deal(which helped to convice scrooge..er, i mean karen) to go for it. add to that the fact that her parents' new car has xm & she finally heard it & liked it. her mom convinced her that we should get it. i can send off for a free home adapter so i can listen in the house too. sweet. i'm overly excited & all a flutter.

probably biased but...
this story has some interesting tidbits. wonder if the mainstream media will pick it up & run w/it? what am i talking about? an article based on interviews w/white house aides that paints a picture of an unstable man in the oval office. this is a must read.

ouch
i ended up using my mental health day doing more labor than relaxation. i finally did a landscaping job i had been putting off for about 3yrs. i removed sections of my lawn in the back to connect two existing beds, put down weed shield & replaced all the existing wood dividers w/professional grade dividers/borders. that was yesterday. today, karen & i planted flowers, veggies & laid down mulch. my lower back is now DOA. why didn't i listen to zoot & kimberlee?

NEW YORK (AP) -- The spiritually inclined band Creed, whose anthemic hits "Higher" and "With Arms Wide helped them become one of the top-selling rock acts of the past decade, has called it quits.

Three former Creed members immediately announced they were forming a new band -- minus singer Scott Stapp -- but were quick to say it was not "just Creed with a different singer."

what to do
i'm taking a mental health day tomorrow. just me at home. no kids. no wife. nothing. that is, of course, unless one of the kids get sick. so my question is do i just laze around & do whatever comes to mind or work in the backyard to bring out & expand the back & side flower beds? sloth or labor?
