mental health day? so, i stayed home today to try & get rid of this virus who has invaded my body. it's made me an achy mess all week. seems i'm all better now. it was nice to stay home all day BY MYSELF. i mostly played ncaa 2005 football all day. surfed the net some. caught some women's water polo on the olympics. is that really a sport? looked like a lot of splashing around w/some dodgeball thrown in.
now, i'm sitting here while karen surf's the tube. i feel she is trying to get back at me for getting a mental health day by flipping between the simple life & newlyweds. i feel slightly drained & dumber just for hearing it in the background. what is it w/america's obsession w/attractive blondes(although i would argue the pulchritude of paris hilton; yes, pulchritude actually popped into my head by itself when i didn't like the word attractiveness) w/IQs smaller than their waists & attitudes nastier than...well...paris hilton. can someone please explain this to me?
by the way, blogger gave me a new little tool for the site. did i mention i feel like one of the only people still left on blogger? everyone else is using moveable type or expression engine. it's like night of the comet, with former blogger blogs lying in piles of red dust. back to my point. i now have an envelope icon to the right of my permalink on each post. clicking that icon will allow you to email that particular entry. not sure if anyone will ever actually use it. if you do, let me know. mail it to me!! that is, of course, if the internet is even around long enough for someone to read this.
